General

Guides & Setup

Stripe Payment Links allow customers to pay via card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay instantly.

  1. Log in to your Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Payments > Payment Links.
  3. Copy the generated URL (e.g., https://buy.stripe.com/...).
  4. In Settld, go to Settings > Payment Methods > Stripe.
  5. Paste your link and you're ready to go!
  1. Visit paypal.me and create your unique handle.
  2. In Settld, go to Settings > Payment Methods > PayPal.
  3. Enter your handle (e.g., paypal.me/YourBusiness).

Automation

Settld can automatically mark invoices as paid when your customer completes a transaction via Stripe or PayPal. This requires setting up "Webhooks".

For Stripe:

  1. Go to Developers > Webhooks in your Stripe Dashboard.
  2. Add an endpoint: https://api.settldinvoice.com/hooks/stripe
  3. Select events: checkout.session.completed
  4. Copy your Signing Secret into Settld > Settings > Webhooks.

For PayPal:

  1. Go to the PayPal Developer Portal and select your App.
  2. Under "Webhooks", add: https://api.settldinvoice.com/hooks/paypal
  3. Select event: CHECKOUT.ORDER.COMPLETED
  4. Copy your Client ID into Settld > Settings > Webhooks.

Security

Settld never handles your actual money. We simply provide the links to established, PCI-compliant processors like Stripe and PayPal. Your customer data is encrypted and stored in a secure private cloud. Protect the app itself with Face ID under Settings > Security.
